Visiting Pompeii

If you are on a day trip from Rome to Amalfi we recommend to include a 2 hr stop at Pompeii ruins. Before continuing on to visit this amazing coast. If you are already staying on the Sorrento coast or the Amalfi coast you can certainly dedicate more time to visiting this incredible archaeological site.
For the more adventurous traveler, there is a possibility to visit the Mount Vesuvius Vulcano which rises just above the Pompeii site. The historical cause of the destruction of Pompeii. The vulcano excursion lasts approx 4 hrs and it is best to be done in the morning.
